One Full Day

Dear Quarter System,
I have been home one full day. I’ve already updated my resume, researched grad schools, helped my mom apply to college, and watched four episodes of Gossip Girl in this one day.
I know that tomorrow I’m going to New York and that I start work again next week. I am excited for that, but why did you bring me back NOW when all of my friends are still at school?
Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy to be home. But really, can we just get the same schedule as other schools so there are actually other people here?
